  • Manufacturers may change product specifications or packaging without notice.
  • Product availability may change at any time.
  • Some products may need to be specially ordered from suppliers.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS AND STOCK CONFIRMATION

Placing an order through our website constitutes a request to purchase the selected products.

Submitting an order does not guarantee that the item is immediately available.

Many products supplied by Kalahari Gear & Optics are sourced from distributors or suppliers and may require stock confirmation before payment is requested.

Our normal ordering process may include:

  1. The customer submits an order.
  2. Kalahari Gear & Optics confirms availability with the relevant supplier or warehouse.
  3. We notify the customer once stock availability has been confirmed.
  4. Full payment is then required before the order is processed or placed with the supplier.
  5. The order is dispatched or delivered once available.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where:

  • The product is unavailable.
  • The supplier has discontinued the product.
  • A pricing or listing error has occurred.
  • Payment has not been received.
  • We are unable to source the item.
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.

Where payment has already been received and an item becomes unavailable, we will contact the customer to arrange an appropriate refund, alternative product or other agreed solution.

Customers are responsible for checking their order details before confirming an order.

SECTION 4 – PRICING, VAT AND PAYMENT

All prices displayed on our website are quoted in Namibian Dollars (N$) unless otherwise stated.

VAT No.: 15254496

Prices, discounts, promotions and special offers may change without notice.

The price displayed when an order is submitted may be subject to confirmation where:

  • The product must be ordered from a supplier.
  • The supplier changes its pricing.
  • Exchange rates affect imported products.
  • An obvious pricing or listing error has occurred.

Where a price changes materially before payment is made, the customer will be informed and may decide whether to proceed.

Shipping or courier charges may be added separately depending on the delivery method and destination.

Full payment is required once stock availability has been confirmed unless another payment arrangement has been expressly agreed to in writing.

Customers must ensure that payment and billing information provided is accurate and that they are authorised to use the selected payment method.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery times depend on whether the product is immediately available or needs to be ordered.

Items in Stock

Products that are available in stock are generally processed or dispatched within approximately:

1–5 business days.

Items That Need to Be Ordered

Products that must be sourced or ordered from a supplier generally have an estimated lead time of:

2–4 weeks.

These timeframes are estimates only and may vary.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Supplier availability
  • Import delays
  • Customs processing
  • Courier delays
  • Public holidays
  • Transport disruptions
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Supplier backorders
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Kalahari Gear & Optics cannot guarantee exact delivery dates unless expressly confirmed in writing.

SECTION 6 – COURIER RISK, LOST OR DAMAGED PARCELS

Once a parcel has been collected by or handed over to the appointed courier, the parcel is in the care of the courier service.

Kalahari Gear & Optics cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, damage or delays occurring after the parcel has been handed to the courier where such circumstances are outside our reasonable control.

We will, however, assist customers where reasonably possible with courier enquiries or claims.

Any parcel that is:

  • Lost
  • Damaged
  • Missing
  • Incomplete

must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery or the expected delivery date.

  • Photographs of damage
  • Proof of delivery
  • Any other supporting evidence

Where an issue is not reported within 48 hours, Kalahari Gear & Optics reserves the right not to approve a replacement, refund or claim, particularly where the delay prevents the matter from being properly investigated.

Please refer to our separate Shipping Policy for further information.

SECTION 7 – RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable Namibian law.

Where a return is accepted, the product should generally be:

  • Unused
  • Unaltered
  • In its original condition

Products may not qualify for return where they have been:

  • Used
  • Installed
  • Modified
  • Damaged after delivery
  • Incorrectly handled
  • Specially ordered specifically for the customer
  • Returned without required packaging or accessories

Damaged, defective or incorrect items should be reported as soon as possible after delivery.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to unlawfully limit any rights available to customers under applicable Namibian law.

SECTION 8 – SPECIAL ORDERS

Certain products may be specially ordered for a customer from a supplier or distributor.

Special-order products may require full payment before the order is placed with the supplier.

Once a special order has been submitted to the supplier, cancellation may not always be possible.

Where cancellation is requested, any refund will depend on:

  • Whether the supplier allows cancellation.
  • Whether the product has already been dispatched.
  • Any non-refundable supplier charges.
  • Any import, shipping or handling costs already incurred.

Customers should confirm product specifications carefully before approving a special order.

SECTION 9 – PRODUCT SUITABILITY AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

  • Reloading dies
  • Reloading components and equipment
  • Rifle accessories
  • Cleaning equipment
  • Bipods
  • Optics
  • Other calibre-specific or firearm-specific products

Customers should confirm compatibility before purchasing.

Where you are unsure, we encourage you to contact Kalahari Gear & Optics for assistance before placing an order.

Advice provided by us is based on information supplied by the customer and available manufacturer specifications.

The final responsibility for confirming compatibility remains with the customer.

SECTION 10 – PRODUCT USE AND SAFETY

Products must be used responsibly, safely and in accordance with:

  • Manufacturer instructions
  • Applicable laws
  • Safety guidelines

  • Proof of purchase
  • Product serial number

Warranty claims may need to be submitted to the manufacturer, supplier or authorised distributor for assessment.

Warranty generally does not cover:
